"If a mirror could show the truth, not superficial lies, what would we see? Not smudged mascara, but a reflection of ourselves. Our real selves. Is Ms. Perfect really dandy, or is she burning? On the inside, what goes through them, and why can't they see? Why can't they just look in the mirror and see? That their world is falling, their hopes are drowning, and their dreams are dying? All in vanity, they face the mirror. Not to reflect upon oneself, but only to see one's reflection. Such vanity we live in. If mirrors showed the truth..."

 reports, 1d 16h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
